You will support the customer service and sales teams with daily operations while developing practical skills through a structured apprenticeship programme.

Annual wage: £15,600 (First Year only! The pay may be negotiated and may rise after a probation period has been successfully completed.)

Training course: Supply chain warehouse operative

Hours: Monday- Friday, 9am- 5pm, with 30 minutes for lunch. 37.5 hours a week

Duration: 15 Months

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work:

  • Print customer orders accurately using the warehouse system
  • Pick items correctly according to printed order lists
  • Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring correct labelling for dispatch and collection
  • Assist with stock control, counting, and replenishment
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse area
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times
  • Support general warehouse duties as required
  • Complete apprenticeship training, coursework, and assessments on time

Where you’ll work: UNIT 1A, HAMPTON HEATH INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, HAMPTON, MALPAS, SY14 8LU

Training: An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Requirements:

Essential qualifications: GCSE Mathematics & English (Grade 9-4 (A-C)) essential. Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.
