Intasite is a dynamic Health and Safety Software as a Service (SaaS) company, headquartered in Teesside. We're on the lookout for individuals who share a profound commitment to customer satisfaction and possess a strong drive to deliver products that enhance operational efficiency for health and safety teams worldwide. Our mission is to streamline the site access process for the most secure and safety-critical sites across the globe. This allows us to efficiently manage the safety and security of their personnel, visitors, and contractors as they enter these facilities, thereby reducing risk, ensuring compliance, and ultimately enhancing productivity.

Our cloud-based SaaS solution for inductions and contractor management caters specifically to high-risk industries, proudly serving renowned clients such as Budweiser, Telefonica O2, EDF Renewables, SSE PLC, Sky Studios, CityFibre, and Equinor. With a global user base, our product's profound impact is a result of our extensive experience in the field. We continually strive to build the most exceptional product possible. Our goal is to combine simplicity and industry knowledge to deliver an outstanding safety onboarding experience.

What you’ll be doing

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Business Development Executive to join our team. You will be responsible for new client sales, owning a defined vertical and driving growth from prospecting through to closure. This is a key role for someone who thrives on winning new business, building strong relationships, and making a real impact on the safety technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in your appointed vertical.
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, from lead generation to contract negotiation and close.
  • Conduct research into target markets, understand clients' pain points and position our solutions accordingly.
  • Present and demo our SaaS platform and video onboarding services to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, onboarding) to tailor proposals and ensure strong client experience.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence to help shape our product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
  • Maintain a CRM system, track activities, and report on pipeline, forecast and results.

As we are investing heavily in marketing, we expect the BDM to receive approximately 20–30% of their required leads from inbound marketing activity. However, the remaining 70–80% will need to be self-generated, so success in this role requires a proactive and consistent approach to outbound prospecting.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven record of new business sales.
  • Preference for candidates with previous experience or knowledge of safety or high-risk environments, or those who have sold into these industries. Experience in SaaS / software would also be desirable.
  • Self-starter, resilient, able to work independently and manage your own creating and closing process.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – you can articulate value propositions to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to research, understand and articulate the challenges facing industries such as construction, energy, manufacturing, chemical, etc.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to adapt to change.
  • Team-player with a positive mindset – you'll be working closely with other passionate colleagues.
  • Based in the UK with willingness to travel to clients as required.

The opportunity to have a direct impact on an exciting product with global reach. Working in a growing dynamic company and developing new opportunities.

25 days annual leave, plus an additional 8 bank holidays (33 in total). Access to our free on-site gym and cinema room. Access to an annual training and development budget. Complimentary parking and a monthly team lunch.
