What you will do:
- Own month-end and quarter-end close tasks over commissions, including but not limited to, journal entries, reconciliations, flux analysis, and financial reporting
- Own compensation plan administration, including maintenance of all employee and plan data within our commissions management platform
- Responsible for validating data used in earnings calculations, working closely with various cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all commission payments and associated reporting is in alignment with company policies and relevant incentive structures
- Collaborate with senior finance, operations, and sales leadership to design and adjust incentive programs to drive performance and ensure sustainability
- Provide clear and transparent communication with stakeholders, resolving disputes and clarifying commission structures as needed
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and transparency of the sales compensation program
- Ad hoc projects as assigned
What you will need:
- Experience :
- Experience in Sales Compensation roles with experience in sales compensation business operations, business process management, and finance operations
- Experience in a management or supervisory role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Skills :
- Proficiency in commission management software (e.g., Xactly, Varicent), Excel, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
- Commissions accounting experience
- Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Preferred Skills :
- Accounting / Finance experience within a publicly traded company
