Firm Deployed Engineers come from the industries Intapp serves.
You have practiced law, executed deals, advised clients, delivered audits or run investments.
Your job is to bring that to life inside a firm.
You will understand how its teams work then deploy the coworkers, playbooks and workflows of Intapp Celeste that can transform how the firm runs.
The role carries an engineer's title, but the value you bring is in the thousands of hours you have spent in your industry.
You know what does and doesn’t work, you know what carries risk and where workflows break down.
You work in the field with the client, shaping Celeste to the firm's data, language and method.
You lead as an advisor and deliver as a builder, often in the same conversation.
What you will do
- Discovery as delivery – Work alongside the professionals to find the workflows worth automating.
Map the workflows onto Celeste's library of agents, skills, and playbooks.
Work fast to deploy the first version then iterate until it holds up under real world usage.
- Codify and tune – Codify the firm's unwritten methods and judgements into the coworkers and playbooks that run at machine speed.
Anchor them through the ontology and semantic layers in Celeste so the agents reason the way its own people do.
- Earn adoption – Lead the actions that earns Celeste's adoption, from tight scoping, through walkthroughs and onboarding to hands on training that meets each group where they are.
- Setup expansion – Lay the foundation for durable expansion, setting up Client Success to grow and renew as usage grows across a firm.
- Shape product – Work with the Industry Architects, Industry Principals and Product leaders to temper Celeste’s roadmaps and strategy with real world experience.
What you will need
- A professional background in one of the industries Intapp serves - legal, accounting, consulting, investment banking and advisory, private capital, or real assets - with the depth that only comes from doing the work, usually five years or more.
- An understanding of how a firm runs as a business - how work is originated, priced, staffed, cleared, and billed - not only how the work product gets made.
- The credibility and composure to engage senior decision-makers, from managing partners and general counsel to heads of innovation and the C-suite.
- The instinct to win adoption inside a partnership, where influence counts for more than mandate and trust is earned one practice at a time.
- Clear, convincing communication with both practitioner and executive audiences, whether you're sketching an idea on a whiteboard or walking a room through a live build.
- A real pull toward where AI is taking professional work, and the patience to keep learning a product that moves quickly.
- Enough technical fluency to hold your own on agents, prompting, and generative AI, and to move easily between the people who do the work and the people who build the software - writing code yourself is not part of the job.
- The steadiness to work in open-ended situations and to carry several client relationships at once, with an instinct for shipping something useful and then making it better.
- Client-facing, business-development, or secondment experience, or a record of owning client relationships directly.
- Deep expertise in a high-value corner of your field - corporate, M&A, or litigation in legal; fund formation or deal execution in private capital; audit or advisory in accounting; and the equivalents elsewhere.
- Time in an innovation or technology function, or a history of building something yourself to change how the work gets done.
