This new role owns the technical administration, configuration, and optimization of our incentive compensation management (ICM) platform and reports into the Assistant Corporate Controller organization. You will translate complex compensation plans into accurate, auditable system logic that supports our monthly payouts and accounting close. Day to day, you will configure crediting rules, quotas, and payout calculations, test and troubleshoot the platform, build reporting and integrations, and partner with Sales Operations, IT, FP&A, Payroll, and HR to keep data accurate from opportunity through final payout. You will also help administer user access and security controls in line with ITGC and SOX requirements.

What you will do

  • Lead aspects of the implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of our ICM platform, including crediting rules, quota management, payout calculations, and reporting that supports the monthly payout and accounting close.
  • Translate compensation plan documents into accurate, auditable system logic, design and maintain workflows for plan changes, exceptions, adjustments, and special cases, and run comprehensive testing to validate accuracy before annual plans launch.
  • Advise stakeholders during plan design discussions on system capabilities, limitations, and best practices, turn compensation requirements into prioritized system enhancements aligned to business objectives, and represent Finance in Agile Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
  • Build and maintain reporting within the ICM platform for user dashboards, attainment tracking, and leadership reporting, and develop and implement integrations with source systems to protect data integrity from opportunity data through final payout.
  • Serve as part of the finance system administration team for the ICM platform, managing user access and security controls in compliance with ITGC and SOX requirements, while monitoring performance, troubleshooting calculation errors, data discrepancies, and integration failures, automating manual processes, and documenting data flows, transformation logic, and system dependencies.

What you will need

  • Hands-on experience implementing and administering a sales compensation platform, along with experience working with an HCM system such as Workday.
  • A strong understanding of sales compensation processes and their accounting impact, with technical skills in SQL, data integration tools, and system configuration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a systematic approach to debugging and root cause analysis.
  • Excellent documentation practices and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Experience working in a public company environment with requirements to comply with SOX.
