An innovative, fast-growing AI company operating in highly regulated industries is looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join its Infrastructure team. This is a lead technical position with ownership of network service design and day-to-day security operations.
Location: Cardiff, South Wales (hybrid - 1 day per week on site)
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, support, and maintenance of secure network infrastructure
- Act as the SME and escalation point for networking across the organisation
- Ensure network availability, resilience, and compliance with internal standards
- Manage firewall technologies, switching, HA setups, and secure connectivity
- Plan and deliver upgrades, changes, and improvements with strong change control
- Support incident resolution within agreed SLAs
- Work closely with the wider business to ensure stable, secure operations
