Looking to work on NPI & innovative software projects from cradle to grave in a true Agile environment? We’re looking for an experienced Software Project Manager to join an innovative company in access control equipment.
About the company:
- They provide an end to end solution in one product which included software, UX/UI, Mobile App, Cloud, Firmware and Electronics. The Project Manager’s focus is on the software/app/cloud par but bonus points if you have experience of all areas
- They build an end to end solution for a consumer electronics product, but a background in technical project management of any physical product is welcomed.
About the role:
- Working alongside the Product Director, you will be responsible for the delivery of full ‘Go to Market’ plan and some more strategic projects too.
- This is a collaborative role where you will support the firmware, software, cloud, mobile app and the UX team; ensuring the teams are motivated and kept in the loop at all times.
- This requirement is more on the senior side, you’ll need to hit the road running and be comfortable working autonomously.
- The team are working in a true Agile environment so the Technical Project Manager will be well versed with an Agile way of working. Someone from a Waterfall background wouldn’t be quite right.
About you:
- Agile experience is essential. You must have worked with Jira, ran Agile sprints/processes and have a background of running customer experience through Agile. The ability to articulate Agile processes is imperative.
- A background in working with overseas teams is a huge bonus.
- As this is a Technical Project Manager role, you will have an understanding of the SDLC and a background in working with software teams, UX/UI teams and ideally mobile app and cloud teams. If you’ve worked with firmware, embedded and electronics teams, that’s a big plus.
- Communication is at the forefront of the Project Manager’s day-to-day, so you will be well versed in in stakeholder management as well as planning and project estimation techniques.
- Ideally you’ll be based in the South Wales area; the office is based in Cardiff and this role requires regular face time in the office.
