We are hiring a Senior Project Manager with a strong track record delivering projects into the public sector. You will need to be confident running project governance, managing delivery teams, and contributing to bid responses (specifically the delivery element β not full bids).
The Role
You will be the senior figure overseeing delivery across multiple projects, working closely with the Ops and Tech teams. The client base is public sector-focused, so you will need to understand how to operate within formal governance structures and frameworks. You will also help shape how delivery runs as the business grows.
What You Will Do
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams across multiple accounts
- Drive delivery process improvement and consistency
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and reporting
- Act as the delivery SME in bids and tender responses
- Manage project risks and ensure delivery stays on track
- Mentor junior PMs and support team development
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ yearsβ project delivery experience in tech environments
- Experience delivering into public sector clients (local or central gov)
- Able to write detailed delivery sections for bids and proposals
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experienced in Agile and Waterfall
- Comfortable with JIRA, MS Project, etc.
- Relevant certifications (Prince2, Agile, MSP, PMP etc.)
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of government frameworks
- Experience building and evolving delivery frameworks
- Hands-on leadership of technical teams (devs, testers, analysts)
