We're looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Cardiff team.
Previous recruitment experience is welcome, but it's not essential.
We're equally interested in graduates and individuals with customer-facing or telephone-based experience who are looking to build a long-term career in recruitment.
You'll receive full training and support, learning how to identify talent, build relationships with clients and candidates, and manage recruitment processes from start to finish.
Our specialist market is Quantum Technologies, one of the fastest-growing technology sectors in the world.
Quantum is an emerging field that combines advanced computing, science and engineering to solve problems that traditional technology cannot.
While an interest in technology would be beneficial, no previous knowledge of Quantum technologies is required, we'll teach you everything you need to know.
What matters most is your ability to communicate confidently, build relationships, and your desire to succeed.
What You'll Be Doing
Following a structured training programme, you'll learn how to
- Identify and engage high-quality talent within specialist technology markets
- Build relationships with candidates and clients across the UK and internationally
- Conduct candidate interviews and qualification calls
- Manage recruitment processes from initial briefing through to placement
- Develop business with existing and new clients
- Become a trusted market specialist within a growing technology sector
What We're Looking For
- A degree, ideally in a STEM discipline (but open to any)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, sales, call centres or another people-focused environment
- Confidence speaking with people over the phone
- Commercially minded and motivated by success
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Resilience, curiosity and a strong work ethic
- An interest in technology and innovation (beneficial but not essential)
No previous recruitment experience is required. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in recruitment.
