We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to support the design and development of innovative products within a highly regulated industry. This role covers the full product lifecycle—from concept through to high-volume manufacturing—while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and internal processes.
Responsibilities include creating and maintaining design documentation and usability engineering files for new product developments.
- Lead product design and development projects from initial concept to market release.
- Coordinate design transfer activities between UK operations and manufacturing partners.
- Provide engineering input for change orders and maintain legacy design documentation.
- Conduct verification and validation of components and assemblies, including inspection and testing.
- Record all formal and relevant informal engineering data within the product lifecycle management system.
- Create and modify technical drawings in line with design standards.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by management.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Product Design or Engineering.
- Experience in a design-related role or manufacturing environment.
