Gen AI Solution Architect

12-month contract | £550 per day (Inside IR35) | 4 days per week (32 hours) | Mainly remote with occasional travel to London

We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect with a strong Microsoft background to help shape and deliver AI solutions across a large enterprise environment.

This is an opportunity to work on projects involving Generative AI and Microsoft technologies, helping to design secure, scalable solutions while working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders.

You don't need to have been working exclusively in Gen AI.

If you've built your career as an Azure Solution Architect and have gained experience with Azure Open AI, Microsoft Copilot or other AI technologies, we'd like to hear from you.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Design end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Azure and related technologies.
  • Help define and implement Generative AI solutions across the organisation.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
  • Contribute to AI architecture, governance and security best practice.
  • Support the adoption of Microsoft AI technologies including Azure Open AI and Microsoft Copilot.
  • Promote reusable architecture patterns and scalable design principles.
  • Work alongside delivery teams to ensure solutions are secure, reliable and fit for purpose.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Solution Architect, Cloud Architect, Technical Architect or Enterprise Architect.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
  • Exposure to Generative AI technologies such as Azure Open AI, Microsoft Copilot or similar AI platforms.
  • Experience designing cloud-based enterprise solutions.
  • Good understanding of security, governance and best practice within Azure environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Nice to have
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform or Microsoft 365.
  • Exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents or AI automation.
  • Microsoft certifications in Azure or AI technologies.
  • Experience working within large enterprise organisations.
