We’re looking for an Electronics Engineer who can contribute to the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware used across a range of engineered products. This role suits someone with a solid foundation in embedded electronics and circuit design who is ready to take on more responsibility, work on meaningful sections of a product, and grow their technical influence within the team. You’ll be an important part of the electronics function—supporting design activities, helping resolve technical problems, and contributing ideas that improve product performance and reliability. The position calls for good analytical ability, attention to detail, and a willingness to develop your skills while working alongside more experienced engineers. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants to take on more complex tasks, broaden their technical capabilities, and play a key role in bringing new electronic products into production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of electronic circuits and embedded hardware from concept through to production release.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure design intent is understood and delivered across the product lifecycle.
  • Assist in diagnosing issues found during prototyping, testing, or changes in requirements.
  • Take part in design reviews, offering input while learning from senior engineers.
  • Support the development of test procedures and validation activities, including EMC-related testing and signal integrity checks.
  • Research components, technologies, and design methods that could benefit new or existing products.
  • Prepare technical documentation such as schematics, BOMs, test reports, and development notes.
  • Work with suppliers, manufacturing partners, and internal teams on prototype builds, component queries, and production support.
  • Review previous development challenges and help apply lessons learned to new designs.
  • Contribute to cost assessments and technical decision-making around component selection.
  • Assist with planning and estimating engineering tasks for electronics-related work.

Essential Experience

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or similar) with several years of relevant industry experience.
  • Practical experience designing electronic circuits and working with embedded hardware.
  • Familiarity with taking designs through prototyping and into early production stages.
  • Competence with PCB design tools and electronic simulation software.
  • Good understanding of EMC principles, electrical validation, and systematic fault-finding.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • A track record of producing well-considered, reliable electronic designs.

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to external manufacturing or PCB assembly partners.
  • Understanding of design approaches for EMC/ESD and electrically noisy environments.
  • Hands-on skills such as soldering, using lab test equipment, and building test rigs or prototypes.
  • Experience taking ownership of small work packages or technical tasks.
  • Ability to work independently on focused technical problems and propose practical solutions.
