The predicted salary is between 63000 - 77000 £ per year.
6-Month Contract | SC Clearance (Current, Lapsed or Eligible)
Hybrid working (2 days p/week onsite near Cardiff for the first month then 1 day onsite p/month thereafter)
Budgets are tight at £300 - £400 p/day (ideally closer to the £300 mark) but this has been determined as Outside IR35 if that helps (we can still pay through an umbrella of course if you prefer that).
We're recruiting a Cloud Data Platform Specialist to support the operation, administration and ongoing development of a modern Microsoft Azure data platform. This isn't a Data Scientist role. We're looking for someone with a strong operational and platform administration background who can manage, support and improve enterprise cloud data services.
You’ll need experience with:
- Microsoft Databricks
- Microsoft Fabric
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Data Lake
- Azure SQL
- Power BI
- Administration and operational support of Azure data platforms
You’ll also ideally have experience with:
- Azure DevOps and controlled deployment environments
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Integration platforms, ideally Salesforce MuleSoft
Ideally you'd have:
- Current SC Clearance, recently lapsed SC, or be eligible and willing to undergo SC/MV clearance
- Experience working within secure or highly regulated environments
- Strong troubleshooting and platform support skills
Contract Length: 6 months initially, with strong potential for extension
Location: Hybrid role with occasional travel to Cardiff
