IntaPeople are proud and excited to be appointed to recruit several DevOps Engineers at various levels for a Welsh-based not-for-profit sector client on an exclusive growth project.

This is a very exciting opportunity to join their fast-growing IT team in this newly created position. You will be responsible for designing and building DevOps solutions for a range of transformational IT and Digital projects with a range of internal and external suppliers and stakeholders.

We are seeking two DevOps Engineers from a Mid to Senior-level so please do not hesitate to apply regardless of the amount of experience you have within a DevOps position. This organisation will give you stability in this forever changing economical environment.

Skills

  • 3-5+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer (or within a similar role)
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex public cloud services, with a deep understanding of Microsoft cloud and DevOps technologies, including experience in one or more of: Azure PaaS, Azure IaaS and Azure DevOps
  • DevOps Practices: Proficiency with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Monitoring and Logging: Expertise in implementing and managing monitoring and logging solutions using technologies such as Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Defender for Cloud, or similar tooling provided by cloud platform vendors to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Agile Methodologies: Strong experience in implementing and leading Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.

Responsibilities (at a glance)

  • Drive project success and support a culture of excellence through leading sprint ceremonies, including planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure the team adheres to Agile principles, facilitating discussions to identify obstacles and promote continuous improvement.
  • Design, build, and maintain public cloud infrastructure using a mix of IaaS and PaaS resources, deployed via Infrastructure as Code (built in terraform) to deliver a secure, scalable cloud platform in line with their Cloud Principles.
  • Design, build, and maintain build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps in line with their CI/CD principles to ensure that deployment strategies for resources are repeatable, scalable and highly available.
  • Refine the DevOps culture across the engineering teams through continuous improvement and iteration of Software Development lifecycles to increase automation and reduce manual effort.
  • Have deep technical knowledge to provide support to delivery teams in solving complex problems.
