You’ll be based onsite in our Cardiff office — collaborating with a focused, in-house digital team. You’ll manage a small team of SEO Specialists and a Digital PR Executive, report to the Head of SEO, and align with our SEO Content Manager to make sure every click counts. This isn’t a role for generalists—you’ll need technical SEO chops, leadership experience, and a commercial mindset.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Monitor and report on SEO performance daily, weekly and monthly
- Mentor and manage a team of 3, ensuring targets are met
- Lead responses to algorithm updates, prioritising high-impact fixes
- Identify and resolve technical issues (crawlability, indexation, CWV)
- Optimise landing pages for structure, intent, and conversions
- Conduct keyword research to capture high-value traffic
- Collaborate with developers and content teams to embed SEO best practices
- Oversee digital PR and backlink acquisition
- Make data-led decisions using GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio
What We Need from You
- Demonstrable SEO experience with technical, on-page, and off-page work
- Proven success in lead generation and conversion-focused SEO
- Strong knowledge of GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio
- Experience mentoring or leading a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable working onsite in a fully in-person environment
Nice to Have
- Experience in property, legal, or home-moving sectors
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and server log analysis
- SEO certifications or analytics credentials (Google Analytics, Semrush, etc.)
Perks & Benefits
- Free city centre parking (worth ~£2,000/year)
- Paid 2-week Christmas break
- Deliveroo Fridays, team lunches, socials, and events
- BUPA healthcare and dental (post-probation)
- Flexible hours: work any time between 6 AM – 8 PM
- Birthday and ‘work-iversary’ paid leave
- Pension contributions matched
- Eye tests, flu jabs, and private health support
- Monthly bonuses and up to £1,000 referral rewards
