Are you an Oracle Developer who wants to work with ClaudeAI and greenfield projects? I’m helping a fintech in Cardiff to scale up the Oracle team due to an increase in demand within Oracle.
About the role
They are in the infancy of a migration from Forms and Reports to APEX, moving from legacy and prioritising based on usage. As well as working with the most recent version of Oracle, PL/SQL and APEX; the team are implementing ClaudeAI and the Oracle Engineer role will be utilising this tooling quite substantially. Joining an established team, you will also be working on a backlog across the core products, some BAU work and initiatives to move the product forward.
About you
Previous experience of a migration to APEX would be very beneficial. Someone who has done this before and learned from the mistakes would bring a lot of value to the team. You will be either a Senior Engineer or a solid Mid-Level Engineer with proficiency in Oracle and PL/SQL. Ideally with experience in automation of PL/SQL testing. This is a hybrid role and the team go into the office 3 days per week, this is not negotiable as they find that having that in-person interaction invaluable (as well as to maintain their motivating and nurturing culture).
About the package
We have a budget of £55,000 but there may be flexibility for a Senior Oracle Engineer who ticks every box. They have an incredible bonus which is up to 20% of your annual salary. Other benefits include private medical with Bupa, 25 days annual leave plus a day off on your birthday, charity leave & a rewards scheme.
