We’re recruiting 13 Technicians and Engineers for a global high‑tech manufacturer based in South Wales. These roles are part of a major expansion and offer long‑term career development. Whether you’re a hands‑on technician, ex‑Forces, a car mechanic with an engineering qualification, or a more experienced engineer from a cleanroom or regulated environment, we want to hear from you.

This is a cleanroom, modern facility with a strong focus on planned maintenance. You’ll be working on PC‑based equipment (very little PLC work), supporting strip‑downs, rebuilds, calibrations, and fault recovery. The bulk of the work is structured, repeatable, and procedure‑driven.

Candidate Profile:

  • Formal engineering qualification (C&G, NVQ, HNC, etc.)
  • Ideally, a formal apprenticeship (can be from any background (e.g., car mechanic, military, etc.))
  • Electrical or mechanical – multi‑skilled preferred but not essential
  • Experience with pneumatics or vacuum systems is a bonus

Key Details:

  • 12‑hour shifts: permanent days (7am–7pm) or nights (7pm–7am)
  • No rotation – fixed shift pattern
  • Shift allowance:
    • Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + alt Saturday: +30% shift allowance
    • Days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday + alt Saturday: +20% shift allowance
    • Nights: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + alt Saturday: +50% shift allowance
    • Nights: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday + alt Saturday: +50% shift allowance
