This is a 6-month freelance assignment focused on analysing and redesigning how commercial sales leads are managed across multiple markets. The engagement sits within a central Process Management and Innovation team, working closely with business and technology stakeholders. The organisation wants an experienced consultant who can step in independently, assess how things currently work, and design a more efficient and scalable approach.
What you’ll be doing:
- Understanding and mapping the current Lead Management process across several business units and regions.
- Mapping and documenting current (“AS-IS”) commercial lead management processes.
- Analysing workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Designing an improved future (“TO-BE”) process using Lean methodologies.
- Producing process models using BPMN 2.0.
- Defining KPIs and performance measures for the redesigned process.
- Building a clear implementation roadmap and outlining change considerations.
- Facilitating workshops and review sessions with senior stakeholders.
- Providing guidance and knowledge transfer to internal process designers.
This role is advisory and design-focused rather than system implementation.
What they’re looking for:
- Certified Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt.
- Strong experience in end-to-end process optimisation.
- Advanced process mapping and modelling skills (BPMN 2.0).
- Experience improving commercial, CRM or sales-related processes.
- Comfortable working independently in a complex international environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience working with CRM or Salesforce-related processes would be particularly valuable.
Contract details:
- Freelance / contract engagement.
- 6-month initial term with potential extension.
- 32-40 hours per week.
- Amsterdam preferred, with roughly one day per week onsite.
If you’re an experienced process improvement consultant who enjoys analysing complex workflows and designing practical, measurable improvements, this engagement offers the chance to deliver meaningful change within a global organisation.
