About the job
We are looking for a detail-oriented and committed Junior Accountant (UK Accounts) to support UK-based accounting operations. This role is ideal for professionals with prior UK BPO experience and a strong foundation in financial reporting, tax compliance, and ledger management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet control accounts.
- Manage purchase and sales ledgers.
- Prepare VAT and CIS returns.
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with UK Corporate and Personal Tax regulations.
- Participate in Zoom meetings with UK-based client managers.
Requirements:
- 1 - 2 years of UK BPO experience is mandatory.
- Partly qualified in AAT, CMA, ACCA, CIMA, or CASL.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Committed to long-term career development within the firm.
Work Schedule:
