Our client is a growing workplace consultancy looking for a Facilities Management Consultant to help organisations transform how their buildings perform. You will work with diverse clients to cut energy use and carbon, improve facilities and estates, and create better, more sustainable places to work.
As a Facilities Management Consultant, you will provide clients with advice and support across project management, facilities management, estate management and procurement. You will plan and deliver projects, carry out technical assessments and operational modelling, and help ensure that client buildings are safe, efficient and compliant.
The role is based in the Adderbury office, with flexibility for home working and regular visits to client sites, depending on project needs.
Key responsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Support clients with estates and facilities planning and delivery.
- Collaborate with the wider team to develop and deliver project solutions.
- Perform technical assessments and operational modelling to improve building performance.
- Prepare clear reports and presentations to communicate ideas and project findings.
- Represent the consultancy and its clients professionally, internally and externally.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities and helping to prepare proposals.
- Maintain awareness of health and safety and other relevant regulations to support statutory compliance.
- Assist with general office management tasks when required.
You will have a relevant qualification or equivalent experience in workplace wellbeing, facilities management, M&E or project management. You bring experience from the built environment, construction, maintenance or FM sectors, along with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to support successful project outcomes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is experience assisting with planning and delivering projects on time and within budget. Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable but not essential.
