We are seeking an Underwriter to join our Commercial Lines in Gloucester where yourinput will help shape the future of the business and drive team success.
Your skills and experience:
- Experience either working in Underwriting from a Commercial or Personal Linesbackground or experience of agricultural insurance from a claims orunderwriting background.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to identify areas for growth and drivingnew business.
- The ability to build and maintain Broker relationships or ideally have existingrelationships with brokers
You’ll make an impact by:
- Underwriting and negotiating new and/or existing Agricultural business withinyour authority
- Building and maintaining excellent broker relationships through regularengagement
- Applying pricing strategies and risk assessment techniques to drive profitablegrowth
- Collaborating with colleagues to share insights and improve underwritingpractices
- Contributing to process improvements and supporting broker team ideasRepresenting our brand at broker meeting, industry events and field visits asneede
