Position Overview: Senior Consultant – HR Communications (12‑month fixed‑term contract). Based in London with a hybrid working model. The role is part of the Internal Communications team, focusing on HR communications strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with HR partners to understand business needs and support HR’s strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with communications colleagues across Internal Communications, the business and global markets to drive alignment and maximise impact.
  • Influence stakeholders through persuasive management, enabling buy‑in and engagement.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal communications strategies that enhance employee engagement, promote the employee promise, and connect Intact’s purpose, values and objectives.
  • Research and recommend innovative storytelling tactics, leveraging video, events and other channels.
  • Draft, edit and proof content for internal and external communication channels, demonstrating exceptional writing skills.
  • Prioritise workloads and contribute to operational efficiencies to meet senior leaders’ goals.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead communication project teams, reviewing team outputs and delegating tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in HR communications, stakeholder engagement and change management.
  • Strategic thinking with a forward‑thinking approach.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with senior stakeholders.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Experience with SharePoint Online and Staffbase is an advantage.
