As a Motor Engineer you will play a pivotal role in shaping fair, efficient, and technically sound motor claims decisions. You'll apply your experience in vehicle construction and repair to support accurate assessments, collaborate with suppliers, and drive continuous improvement across the claims journey. The location for this role can be based anywhere in the UK, you must be able to travel to an RSA office.

You’ll Make An Impact By:

  • Providing technical advice on vehicle construction, repair methods, and total loss assessments.
  • Managing complex motor claims from start to finish, ensuring efficient resolution through repair, total loss, or cash settlement.
  • Reviewing and validating repair estimates, invoices, and mechanical/electrical failures in line with manufacturer, Thatcham, and ABI guidelines.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to resolve disputes, investigate delays, and identify opportunities for recovery.
  • Supporting data analysis to identify trends, contribute to audits, and drive continuous improvement across the motor claims process.
