You will play a key role in strengthening talent and capability across Intact, supporting delivery of business priorities through high quality leadership and a focus on continuous improvement.

By coaching a mixed skilled team across leadership development, learner experience, and talent L&D design and delivery, your contribution helps build a collaborative, inclusive environment where people can grow, perform, and deliver excellent outcomes for customers and the business.

  • You’ll Make An Impact By
  • Leading and supporting a mixed skilled team across the talent and capability discipline to deliver high quality talent and L&D design and delivery outcomes that align to business priorities.
  • Creating and maintaining sustainable solutions that drive our ability to build performance through effective prioritisation, resource planning, and management of demand and capacity.
  • Ownership of talent identification approach.
  • Supports the Op Co and CHRO to build and maintain diverse succession plans influencing talent mobility to support broadening experience and skillsets that helps build succession plans further
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to agree hiring needs, influence decisions, and ensure fair and unbiased talent practices.
  • Managing the delivery plan for all learning and development interventions including stakeholders expectations, demand focusing and management.
  • Coaching and developing team members to build capability, improve quality, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Monitoring performance through service levels and learning and talent outcomes, using insight and data to identify improvements and enhance delivery.
  • Supporting operational improvements by adapting to changing priorities and contributing to process optimisation.
  • Develop and lead the vendor and partnership strategy to support delivery of our talent and capability priorities, while maintaining an appropriate balance between building internal capability and securing competitive advantage internally.
  • Driving our DE&I agenda through the design and delivery of key employee experience moments, embedding inclusive principles into talent, development and career processes to support a diverse workforce and equitable outcomes.

  • Ability to lead and develop teams, creating an engaged and high performing environment.
  • Excellent understanding of learning, capability, talent management and people development approaches.
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills essential to ensure effective working relationships across the business.
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities, using sound judgement to respond to changing demands.
  • Experience of using data, reporting, and metrics to track performance and guide strategies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements including data protection and the application of fair and consistent processes.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to translate business needs into people solutions, with experience of strong budget management.
  • Ability to drive decision making through data and insights.
  • Vendor management skills.
