This role is central to how Commercial Lines uses data to improve trading performance, broker relationships, and decision-making. You’ll work closely with the business to turn data into practical insight, helping Intact identify opportunities for growth, improve processes, and deliver better outcomes, while developing your analytical and technical skills within a collaborative team.
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with insight analysts and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful analytics and insight for Commercial Lines.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Qlik applications, dashboards, and reporting to support business decision-making.
- Manage BAU, daily, weekly, and monthly metrics reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
- Extract, transform, and load data from source systems into Qlik using SQL Server and SAS, supporting automated reporting.
- Monitor data quality, identify issues, troubleshoot anomalies, and update dashboards in line with business requirements.
- Good understanding of insurance processes and regulatory requirements within Commercial Lines.
- Experience delivering analytics and insight within an insurance environment, supporting both operational and strategic decision-making.
- Proficient in BI and analytics tools, including Qlik and Power BI, with working knowledge of SQL and SAS.
- Good organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, reporting cycles, and priorities effectively.
- High attention to detail with a focus on data quality and accuracy, supported by good Excel and PowerPoint skills.
