As a Finance Actuarial Transformation Consultant you will work as part of the team responsible for the Finance & Actuarial Transformation project within the Corporate Actuarial function. Your role will involve working with Finance SMEs, Intact Corporate Actuarial SMEs and other project team members to assess and implement change to data, processes and systems. This role is being advertised on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Reporting to stakeholders and managing expectations, planning and ensuring the project can meet demanding timelines whilst maintaining an effective control environment.
- Ensuring project management governance is adhered to using the RSA’s project methodology tools.
- Guiding and supporting Analysts in achieving their objectives.
Finance & Actuarial Transformation Project:
- Working on change activity within the Corporate Actuarial team within agreed scope of the Finance & Actuarial Transformation Project.
- Supporting development of Actuarial requirements and proposed changes to data, processes and systems for the Project.
- Interacting with wider UK&I Corporate Actuarial team to ensure proposed changes to data, processes and systems are appropriate to the needs of the team.
- Developing and implementing changes within Corporate Actuarial ranging from changes to data, inputs, outputs and processes across all areas impacted by the project.
- Completing testing of new processes and systems alongside other team members.
- Conducting generic actuarial analysis required within the scope of the Finance & Actuarial Transformation project.
Your skills and experience:
- Appropriate actuarial training, qualification or experience commensurate to the expectations set out above.
- A good understanding of the finance & actuarial processes, systems & software.
- Credibility to operate in support of the UK Actuarial leaders, work as part of an effective team, and to drive continuous improvement.
- Relationship and trust building with senior actuarial colleagues and the business is paramount.
