Win as a Team

In this role, you will sit at the heart of the people analytics agenda at Intact Insurance UK, turning complex people data into clear insights that shape better decisions and stronger performance. Your work will help leaders understand what is happening across the business and why, supporting a culture of evidence-based decision making and helping the organisation focus on the areas that matter most to colleagues and customers. You will be based in Liverpool on a hybrid basis.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Designing and building intuitive self-service dashboards that enable stakeholders to easily access, understand and act on people data and trends.
  • Producing high quality insight packs that combine accurate people data with meaningful analysis and commentary to support senior decision making.
  • Driving improvements in automated reporting and insight generation, strengthening the people data structure and applying best practice techniques.
  • Applying a deep understanding of people data structures and hierarchies to identify anomalies, risks and considerations, and to protect data integrity.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across UK&I to provide clear oversight of key people metrics, including culture, capability and priority workforce themes.

Your skills and experience:

  • End-to-end delivery of production Power BI reporting, from data preparation and modelling through to build, release, and ongoing optimisation.
  • Advanced DAX and data modelling capability, writing clean, maintainable measures that follow best practice and support scalable semantic models.
  • Strong visual design & UX skills, producing intuitive, executive-ready dashboards with clear storytelling and usability.
  • Microsoft Fabric experience across ETL components (dataflows, pipelines, lakehouses, warehouses) and building Power BI reports on Fabric datasets.
  • Extensive hands-on SQL expertise, including complex joins, transformations, and performance-aware querying using clean, maintainable code.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills—able to interrogate complex datasets and translate insights into clear narratives for senior stakeholders.
  • Sound judgement with strong data governance and data protection awareness; advanced Excel skills for validation and rapid analysis.
