Win as a Team

As a Finance Change Consultant (Financial Reporting) you will be a key part of strategic finance and company-wide projects, ensuring processes and systems are optimised for efficiency, compliance, and scalability.

This includes contributing to feasibility studies to assess business impact and finance readiness, while providing specialist guidance on technical and industry developments.

Your role will evaluate solution options, secure appropriate third-party advice, and deliver recommendations aligned with best practices.

You’ll make an impact by

  • Providing subject matter expertise in Financial Reporting processes and systems to deliver solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Specify functional, technical, and data requirements across the programme to reduce manual processes, improve automation and enable effective business reporting.
  • Designing efficient and standardised go forward Finance Processes that impact the monthly reporting rhythm.
  • Contribute to the data migration approach for the ERP and data solutions.
  • Undertake UAT testing, ensuring that all systems and processes are working as expected.
  • Providing clear, insightful updates and ensuring escalation of risks and issues to the appropriate forums and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with appointed Project Manager and Business Analysts as required and ensure that requirements, scope, timeline and budgets are met.
  • Working with key stakeholders to provide project updates and agree resource needs.

Your skills and experience

  • Qualified/part qualified accounting professional with in-depth knowledge of relevant accounting systems and substantial user experience of Finance business functions.
  • Experience in leveraging account analytics to support finance transformation and change initiatives.
  • Has some background in financial reporting processes within Intact, whether that be P&L or Cost Base.
  • Has a passion for process improvement.
  • Considerable influencing and stakeholder management skills.
