As Procurement CIO Strategic Business Partner, you will connect technology ambition with commercial excellence, helping Intact Insurance UK deliver value, resilience and innovation across its technology estate. You will work closely with senior technology leaders to align procurement strategy with business priorities, ensuring every investment delivers measurable impact while strengthening supplier partnerships.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Acting as the primary procurement interface for senior technology leadership, building trusted relationships and providing commercial insight to support informed decisions.
- Shaping and evolving category strategies that align with business priorities, demand plans and regulatory expectations, ensuring clear and effective outcomes.
- Leading end‑to‑end sourcing activity, defining routes to market and commercial models that deliver value and manage risk effectively.
- Driving demand optimisation by translating spend data and market insight into actions that reduce complexity, improve resilience and maximise supplier value.
- Owning supplier relationships for strategic partners, strengthening performance through clear governance, KPIs and continuous improvement activity.
- Delivering a robust value pipeline, including cost savings, cost avoidance and innovation, while ensuring financial transparency and reporting with Finance partners.
Your skills and experience:
- Extensive background partnering with senior technology leaders, providing commercial challenge and influencing investment decisions.
- Deep expertise across technology procurement, sourcing and supplier management within complex environments.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver category strategies that balance cost, risk and innovation outcomes.
- Solid understanding of supplier risk, regulatory requirements and operational resilience within technology supply chains.
- Confidence in managing strategic supplier relationships and driving performance through structured governance and collaboration.
- Ability to use market insight and data to inform decisions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
