We organise large-scale conferences worldwide and are expanding into digital media to leverage our network further. Part of United Media, we focus on building industry media and conference products across sectors like insurance, HR, private equity, and retail. We have launched 8 media companies and acquired one to date.

As an Event Operations Associate, you will play a key role in building top-tier conferences within our portfolio. You will have ownership of our events, pushing you beyond your comfort zone. You will work from our London HQ, with opportunities including:

Your Responsibilities
Your main task is to assist our portfolio companies in creating exceptional conference experiences. This includes:
- Creating a vision and strategy for innovative and extraordinary experiences.
- Developing detailed plans to execute the vision.
- Identifying and contacting potential partners.
- Promoting events and closing deals.
- Managing conferences to ensure smooth operations and high attendee satisfaction.
What we expect from you
We seek a candidate with a strong work ethic, high urgency, ownership, proactivity, humility, and passion for building new businesses. You should also:
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree with excellent results.
- Be willing to work in event planning, marketing, PR, or related fields.
- Possess a UK work permit.
- Have a keen eye for aesthetics and details.
- Be well-organised, able to prioritise tasks.
- Enjoy building and nurturing relationships.
- Possess strong negotiation skills.
Start date: Flexible. The role is onsite, Monday to Friday, at our London office in Buckingham Gate. We work at a fast pace and value in-person collaboration to deliver outstanding events throughout the year.
