Your impact:
- Provide expert guidance on all aspects of commercial insurance, ensuring successful tender outcomes for high-value projects.
- Navigate unique insurance challenges on innovative projects, minimising risk and maximising project success.
- Develop strong, trusted partnerships with key stakeholders, becoming their go-to insurance expert.
- Manage a portfolio of 10 -15 key public sector clients with premiums ranging from £500k to £800k, driving client retention and expansion.
Your expertise:
- The desire to specialise in the public sector insurance market.
- A minimum of 3 years’ commercial account handling experience.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for continuous learning; Cert CII qualified (or willingness to pursue).
Desirable experience:
- Managing large commercial insurance accounts, with a deep understanding of speciality lines (D&O, property and casualty, professional indemnity, terrorism, crime, etc.).
- Experience of demonstrated success in leading complex insurance tenders for public sector clients: eg universities, government agencies and local authorities.
