We are seeking a talented Senior Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join a leading independent insurance brokerage. As a Senior Account Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing client relationships, providing expert advice, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will benefit from working in a supportive environment which offers clear career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account handle an existing book of commercial clients supporting the Account Executives.
  • Efficiently manage MTA's and renewals to maintain strong client relationships and maximise retention.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and contribute to the team's overall success.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products to existing clients, maximising revenue potential.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes to enhance your knowledge and skills.

What you'll offer:

  • Strong technical skills and ideally 3-5 years of commercial experience in a broker environment.
  • Experience handling mid-level to large premiums.
  • Experience in Acturis (desirable, however, training can be provided).
  • Strong negotiation and relationship skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Organised with excellent time management skills.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C), including English and Maths.
  • Experience in a broad range of commercial insurance.
  • Working towards Cert CII.
  • Proven experience in handling Commercial classes of business.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Acturis.
