We are supporting our client to recruit a personal lines underwriter to join their growing underwriting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Underwriter looking to develop their technical expertise within a supportive and collaborative MGA environment.
The successful Personal Lines Underwriter will be responsible for:
- Underwriting new business and renewal home insurance risks
- Supporting travel insurance referrals
- Contributing towards product governance and underwriting performance activities
This underwriter position offers genuine career progression, comprehensive training and the opportunity to work with a growing business during an exciting period of expansion. Whilst previous home insurance or travel insurance experience would be highly desirable, we are also interested in speaking with candidates who have underwriting or delegated authority experience across personal lines, property, commercial insurance, non-standard motor insurance or other non-standard insurance product classes. Full product training can be provided for candidates with strong underwriting fundamentals who are keen to build a long-term career as a personal lines underwriter.
