About the Role
Are you an experienced Account Executive looking to join a growing Real Estate insurance division? This role is ideal for someone with a background in property-related insurance - commercial, residential, or a mixed portfolio. If you are experienced in managing client relationships, renewals, and you are confident in winning new business, let’s arrange a conversation.
In this role, you will oversee a sizeable property insurance portfolio for a key client, ensuring policies are placed accurately, renewed efficiently, and supported with excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a consistent and professional level of service across all client interactions.
- Identify client requirements and recommend insurance solutions aligned to their objectives.
- Manage new business enquiries, policy adjustments, and annual renewals.
- Coordinate the full renewal and market exercise to agreed timelines.
- Work collaboratively with international brokerage partners to ensure placements are aligned across global territories.
- Maintain accurate and compliant records within Acturis.
- Handle client questions and requests promptly and effectively.
- Stay informed on industry changes, market trends, and emerging risks.
- Ensure all work meets FCA regulatory standards and internal governance procedures.
- Oversee invoicing, payment schedules, and funding arrangements.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews to highlight potential coverage gaps and uninsured exposures.
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Account Executive or similar client-facing insurance role.
- Strong background in commercial or property/real estate insurance.
- ACII qualified or working towards professional accreditation.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proven experience maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurers.
- Commitment to CPD and strong understanding of industry developments.
- Solid knowledge of FCA compliance requirements.
- Acturis experience advantageous, strong Excel skills essential.
