Are you an experienced insurance finance professional with strong Acturis knowledge and a solid understanding of client money and FCA regulations? Insure Recruitment is working with a well-established and growing insurance business, part of a wider group, who are looking to appoint an accountant to support and develop their finance function. This opportunity has arisen due to a long-standing team member retiring in July, offering a fantastic chance to step into a well-established role with strong processes and handover. This is a highly flexible opportunity, offering full-time or part-time hours, along with remote working, requiring just one day per month in the London office.
Role
- Preparation of monthly management accounts within agreed deadlines
- Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations (client and business accounts)
- Full balance sheet reconciliation and review
- Management of intercompany accounts
- Support with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end processes
- Assist with audit preparation and reporting packs
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Manage and post client money transactions via Acturis
- Perform monthly insurer reconciliations and arrange settlements
- Ensure compliance with FCA client money regulations
- Liaise with insurers, account handlers, and internal teams to resolve queries
