The Role
As an Insurance Advisor, you'll help customers protect what matters most by providing expert advice on home, motor and personal insurance.
Using a consultative approach, you'll take the time to understand every customer's needs before recommending the most suitable and comprehensive insurance solutions. You'll build lasting relationships, deliver exceptional customer service and identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell products that genuinely benefit your customers.
Every conversation is different, making this a varied and rewarding sales role where no two days are the same.
What You'll Be Doing
- Advising customers on home, motor and personal insurance products.
- Understanding each customer's circumstances and recommending the most appropriate cover.
- Building trusted relationships through outstanding customer service.
- Cross-selling and up-selling additional insurance products where appropriate.
- Managing enquiries from quotation through to policy completion.
- Working towards individual and team sales targets.
- Developing your knowledge through structured training and professional insurance qualifications.
What We're Looking For
- To be successful as an Insurance Advisor, you'll have:
- Previous insurance experience OR a proven sales background.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence speaking with customers and identifying their needs.
- A consultative, customer-first approach.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to build a long-term career.
- Strong motivation to achieve sales targets while delivering exceptional service.
- Experience within insurance, banking, financial services, call centre sales, estate agency, retail sales, automotive sales or other customer-facing sales roles would be highly desirable.
