Position Overview
The Inside Sales Representative acts as a dedicated consultant for prospective customers, guiding them through the transition to automated insulin delivery. This includes managing lead inquiries, educating interested individuals on the system's benefits, and further supporting those leads as they prepare to be trained on Omnipod. By maintaining a high-touch relationship with potential users, the representative ensures that every customer is fully prepared for their clinical training and long-term success with our product.
This position requires a high degree of consumer interaction and communication to ensure the customer experience is positive, professional and optimally reflects Insulet's goal to exceed customer expectations.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate strong historical sales success, strong business acumen, proven ability to learn complex technical material and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability to work effectively and professionally in a key crossāfunctional role with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Achievement of agreed business goals on a quarterly, semester & annual basis.
- Contacting prospective leads by phone and email ā who have expressed an interest in the OmniPod System.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by demonstrating a thorough understanding of how Insulet's products are used, including the benefits of the product; and answer customer inquiries about the OmniPod product and competitive comparisons.
- Supporting customers as they transition onto the Omnipod System ā ensuring a smooth transition from their present treatment to Omnipod.
- Interact with new customers on Omnipod product to ensure satisfaction and understanding of our product and after sales customer care.
- Support existing Omnipod customers who may have taken a break from using our products or be coming up to the end of funding to ensure retention on Omnipod products.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to feedback customer insights and help support a culture of continuous improvement.
- Perform a broad range of complex and challenging sales and serviceārelated duties and administrative tasks.
- Utilise internal CRM systems to accurately record all customer interactions and to organise daily activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Demonstrated previous Inside Sales experience ā ideally in medical devices, healthcare or similar competitive, fastāpaced markets.
- Fluent in English (mandatory).
