Job Description

Instrument Transformers Ltd ( ITL )is a long established and respected name in the UK power industry.

The company designs and manufactures a wide range of LV and MV current, voltage and protection transformers, chokes and associated equipment for use in the Generation, Transmission and Distribution of electrical power.

It's UK and International customer base includes switchgear companies, large transformer manufacturers, power generators and distributors, utilities and the renewables industry with many of the well known companies involved in power generation and distribution included in its customer base.

It's business is almost entirely bespoke, with almost almost all products designed and manufactured to meet individual customer requirements and specifications.

Due to continued growth the company is looking to recruit a bright and dynamic design engineer to join the existing engineering team and play an important role in the future development and expansion of the business and its products.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals with the necessary skill sets, qualifications and experience in our industry and become a valuable member of our existing design team.

The position is based at our 20000 square feet design and manufacturing facility near Glasgow with attractive working environment and conditions.

Salary package will be competitive and dependent upon qualifications and prior experience. It will not be a barrier to recruiting the right person.
