University of Oxford invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the laboratory of Dr Georgia Isom at the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology. The project aims to uncover how sphingolipids are transported to the surface of Gram-negative bacteria using cryo-EM, mass spectrometry, proteomics, and cellular electron microscopy.

Applicants should hold, or be close to completion of, a PhD in structural biology with experience solving high‑resolution structures by single-particle.
