This role is a fixed-term contract (maternity cover) for up to 8 months and based in our High Wycombe office.
Job Purpose
- Responsibility for the creation of shipping documentation
- Freight invoice approvals through freight audit reporting
- Manual freight invoice approvals
- Update export register with shipping credentials
- Maintain filing system for compliance documentation
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Managing shipping inbox for pending outbound shipments
- Ensuring shipping documents are saved as per HMRC requirements
- Creating shipment invoices, packing lists & other required shipping documentation
- Act as contact for customer and internal queries relating to shipping or status enquiries.
- Maintaining and updating various existing spreadsheets
- Freight invoice reconciliation & approvals
- Freight invoice query resolution
- Manual Freight invoice approvals
- Creation and distribution of Shipping Reports
- Ad hoc shipping tasks supporting Shipping Team Lead
Key Experience And Competencies
- Organised administrator with a good demonstration of prioritisation
- Proven track record of attention to detail
- Keenness to learn and carry out new tasks and develop new skills, within a multi-functional role.
- Sound analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
- Strong communication skills, internally and externally
- A high standard of computer literacy including Intermediate Excel skills
- Basic understanding of freight/logistics process is beneficial
