As Product Manager for the Dynamic Systems Test and Measurement, based at our High Wycombe site, you will be at the forefront of driving innovation, growth, and market leadership. This role combines strategic vision with hands‑on product leadership, owning the full product lifecycle from concept and development through commercialization and ongoing optimisation. By leveraging data‑driven insights and collaborating closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams, you will identify emerging customer needs, uncover new growth opportunities, and work with our business leaders to shape the product roadmap to deliver industry‑leading solutions. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to create growth opportunities which accelerate innovation, enhance customer satisfaction, and generate tangible business outcomes that strengthen the company's competitive position across a global market.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Undertake the total lifecycle management of dynamic systems products to support the setting and delivery of the long‑term product vision and strategy.
  • Develop a deep and practical understanding of dynamic systems products and services to become the expert for the product line, acting as an internal and external advocate for Instron solutions.
  • Analyse business drivers, customer needs, markets, technology and competition to identify gaps and growth opportunities that support informed business decisions and objectives.
  • Create robust 5P go‑to‑market plans that support the successful launch of new products/services and maximise internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Own product value delivery and measurement, baseline product performance and tracking outcome metrics (customer, commercial and operational) to demonstrate and realise value.
  • Support product marketing team to deliver impactful promotional campaigns, content and collateral that enhance the customer experience, increase product/brand awareness and support lead generation.
  • Manage relevant product financials (budget, costs, value, etc.) to ensure the accurate price positioning of products to maximise sales performance across a range of different commercial arenas.
  • Maintain and apply a working knowledge of the business Enterprise strategy, using it to guide decision‑making processes to promote and lead culture of sustainable innovation and development.

Qualifications, Experiences & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering (or equivalent qualification/marketing‑related discipline).
  • Experience gained in a B2B, Engineering or Manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrable product management experience (3–5 years) in a similar or relevant industry (Mechanical and material testing product and market knowledge is preferred).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and proactively deliver high‑quality outcomes.
  • An excellent team player that can work in an office‑based environment who also possesses the ability to work independently and has experience with customer‑facing sales scenarios.
  • Desire to maintain awareness of emerging technologies in new media, constantly striving to gain further knowledge and willing to learn new things related to the role.
  • Full UK driver’s licence.

Working Conditions

  • Normal office and factory environment with limited physical discomfort due to the manufacturing environment (temperature, noise, dust, etc.).
  • Intermittent European and International travel expected throughout the year.
  • Some lifting and handling may be required in the facilitation of customer product demonstrations and events.
