Role Overview
Yoh has partnered with a leading provider of innovative engineering solutions for the offshore and marine sectors. Specializing in designing and delivering high-quality systems that meet the demanding requirements of the global offshore and marine industries. An experienced Draughtsman to join our team on a contract basis for a six month initial project. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing detailed engineering drawings and models using SolidWorks for a range of marine and offshore projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate 2D and 3D drawings and models using SolidWorks.
- Interpret engineering specifications and convert them into detailed designs.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain drawing standards and document control procedures.
- Support design reviews and provide technical input where required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Draughtsman in a mechanical or marine engineering environment.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (essential).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes such as fabrication drawings.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
