Job Title: Automation & Test Engineer

Location: Worcester

Salary: £40,000 – £55,000

Yoh have partnered with a well-established business who are looking to expand their team due to natural growth with an increase in orders and clients. The business in question offers a bespoke advanced solution for design and testing of automation equipment used across a variety of industries including powertrains, HVAC and other systems serving a global market demand.

Based in the Worcester area, the right candidate for this position would require a candidate to be able to be on office site 80% of the time with the other 20% including travel to client’s site around the UK as and when needed for installation and commissioning of new products.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Implement bespoke automation and control process for the application usage for customer requirements.
  • Design and fault finding of automated test systems.
  • Develop and modify code using Windows based coding programs such as C# or Visual Basic.
  • Experience with PLC systems (particularly safety PLC systems) is useful, but not essential.
  • Experience working with protocols such as Ethernet or CAN would be desirable.

They are able to offer the right candidate a salary between £40,000 – £55,000 per annum and some of the benefits include but are not limited to: Flexitime, paid overtime when appropriate, and a clear progression path into senior automation and commissioning positions.
