ISS Investment Stewardship solutions enable investors to develop, integrate and demonstrate responsible oversight and management of investments. Our Solutions help investors develop and integrate responsible investing policies and practices, engage on responsible investment issues, monitor portfolio company practices through screening solutions and conduct proxy-voting by leveraging policies tailored to their specific values and mandates.
As part of the overall Investment Stewardship Product team, the Governance Research Solutions team develops and manages the line of products leveraged for proxy-voting and investor engagement activities. The team also oversees the integration of Sustainability data into proxy-voting policies and offering. We are looking to hire a Product Manager to support ongoing product management and the development of new enhancements and solutions for our Governance Research product line. The position reports to the Governance Research product lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Support product development and enhancement efforts for selected ISS Governance Research offering
- Solicit internal and external stakeholder feedback to inform product roadmap and new product development
- Support the integration of Sustainability data into Stewardship and Proxy-voting content and offering
- Maintain product backlog and respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Write detailed product requirement documents and functional specifications
- Develop product illustrations and prototypes based on an understanding of the user experience
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to ensure successful launch planning and execution
- Assist in product education of internal and external stakeholders
- 3-5 years of project/product management or related experience
- Understanding of proxy-voting principles, practices and processes
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new content, and be a recognized content expert on target products
- Strong project management skills, able to work well in a cross-functional team environment
- Ability to collaborate successfully across global, diverse, and multi-cultural teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Product management, requirements writing, time-management, and presentation skills
