The Taskforce brings together public and private sector stakeholders to develop practical solutions that will support institutional investors in pursuing investment opportunities in EMDEs to help deliver economic growth and tackle climate change. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, is confident working with senior stakeholders, and can combine strategic communications planning with hands‑on delivery.

You will be responsible for delivering the EMDE Investor Taskforce’s communications strategy, drawing on the guidance of senior comms colleagues where appropriate, whilst also being an integral part of the IIGCC’s established communications and membership team of 10. Overall, your work will contribute towards the latest developments in the intersection between investors and climate change. While this role is initially offered on a fixed term basis for 12 months, we hope that the contract can be extended, depending on resources.

Ensure all work is delivered to a high standard and quality, including proof reading, presentation and brand, and user navigability. Ensure messaging is aligned across channels and adapted appropriately for different audiences, including investors, policymakers and partners. Support senior stakeholders with speeches, talking points and briefings, including for policy and high‑level stakeholder engagement.

Draft compelling and impactful content for the EMDE Investor Taskforce LinkedIn page and lead on community management, engaging with relevant stakeholders to raise the profile of the Taskforce and its outputs. Use performance data and insight to refine messaging and channel strategy in collaboration with colleagues, and produce quarterly data and analysis reports for EMDE Investor Taskforce external stakeholders.
