What you'll be doing

  • Lead and develop a selection of global technical networks, working in partnership with volunteers, members, and colleagues across the IET.
  • Create vibrant, engaged communities; build strong relationships with volunteers and support them to lead, grow, and deliver meaningful activity.
  • Understand what motivates your communities and how best to support them.
  • Help shape the direction of your networks and communities, identifying new opportunities, and aligning activity with wider IET priorities.
  • Bring structure and clarity to plans while remaining flexible to evolving needs and opportunities across different regions.
  • Coordinate activity, share insights and ensure a joined‑up approach with colleagues across the IET.
  • Generate ideas for new technical topics and support community‑led initiatives.
  • Monitor performance and engagement using data and feedback to understand what’s working and where improvements can be made.
