Role Purpose

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Web Administrator to join our Communications team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience managing website content, supporting users, and working with Content Management Systems (CMS) to help deliver an exceptional digital experience across the ICE Group's websites.

As the Web Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring our websites remain accurate, engaging, accessible, and aligned with brand standards.

You'll support colleagues across the organisation with content publishing, event management, and day-to-day website administration, while acting as a first point of contact for web-related queries.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively, has excellent organisational skills, and is passionate about digital communications and web content management.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Uploading, editing, and maintaining website content including news, blogs, events, and other digital resources.
  • Supporting colleagues and stakeholders with content publishing and website administration.
  • Providing first-line support to CMS users and resolving website-related queries.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for website users and managing incoming website correspondence.
  • Ensuring website content adheres to branding, style, accessibility, and quality standards.
  • Optimising content metadata to improve visibility and social media performance.
  • Supporting website monitoring activities to maintain high standards of presentation and usability.
  • Assisting with online development projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to prioritise and deliver digital updates and enhancements.
  • Experience creating, editing, and publishing web content.
  • Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS), ideally Umbraco, Storyblok, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of HTML and website content management principles.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture and content organisation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet competing deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and develop digital skills.
  • Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or other digital image editing tools.
  • Understanding of web usability and accessibility best practices.
  • Knowledge of corporate branding and online copywriting principles.
  • Familiarity with social media and video platforms such as You Tube and Vimeo.
  • Experience using Share Point or other online document management systems.

  • Educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent), including English Language.
