The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Regional Coordinator to join our South West Region team. You will be central to the successful delivery of ICE’s activities in the region, providing essential administrative and support services to our volunteer members and the Regional Support Team (RST). This is a dynamic and varied role, ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, providing excellent customer service to members, prospective members and the public.
- Coordinate and administer regional events, including venue booking, delegate management and on-site support.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the regional committee, officers and branches.
- Support and maintain information on the regional website.
- Maintain regional membership data and generate reports using our membership database (MEMSYS).
- Support the Regional Director and Treasurer with financial administration, including processing invoices and maintaining accounts.
- Produce and distribute marketing materials, electronic mailings and website updates.
- Collaborate effectively with other Regional Coordinators and ICE HQ teams.
- Collate feedback and provide regular reports on event attendance and key performance indicators.
- Maintain efficient office practices, including post, filing and supply management.
- Identify and report potential risks and take appropriate corrective measures.
What We're Looking for In You?
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with experience in event coordination.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
- Experience in financial administration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Ability to manage a demanding and varied workload, balancing priorities effectively.
- Proactive and adaptable approach.
- Criminal Record Bureau Clearance required.
- In depth Data Protection training will be provided.
