The Role:
Thomas Telford (TTL) is seeking a Demand Generation Marketing Executive to lead generation efforts to build a sales pipeline and help drive revenue growth. Create, implement and optimise impactful campaigns to reach and engage the target audience. This role supports the entire marketing process, from concept development to execution and analysis, ensuring each campaign aligns with the broader marketing objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
- Drive new customer acquisition through TTL demand generation strategy.
- Implement marketing activities to attract new prospects.
- Support brand awareness to educate prospects on TTL solutions.
- Develop nurturing strategies to convert engaged audiences into leads.
- Create impactful content for lead nurturing.
- Collaborate with Sales to achieve annual net revenue growth.
- Build strong relationships with staff, customers, prospects, and associations.
- Maintain a professional image of TTL in the market.
- Define campaign requirements, target audiences, key messages, and create assets.
- Understand market segments and target audiences to inform marketing plans.
- Align customer buyer journey with marketing and sales strategies.
- Ensure messaging addresses customer needs and pain points.
- Update customer personas and value propositions regularly.
- Develop tools, content, and resources to support sales teams.
- Track metrics and KPIs to measure campaign success.
- Balance multiple tasks and collaborate with marketing team members.
- Support TTL marketing team and align priorities with other TTL teams.
- Communicate clearly and escalate issues as needed.
Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of email and CRM systems (Campaign Monitor, Salesforce)
- Hands-on digital marketing channels expertise (email, SEO, PPC, social media)
- Strong copywriting and editing skills
- Understanding of subscription-based B2B information services
- Organise and execute projects on time and within budget
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work to tight deadlines
- Excellent written English and communication skills
- Highly self-motivated, intuitive, energetic and with great attention to detail
- Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably in B2B information
- Experience using email marketing platforms, plus other digital channels
- Experience in campaign tracking, reporting, and analytics
- Well-organised with a structured approach to projects
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively across departments and teams
- Self-motivated, comfortable using own initiative
Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Preferably a professional qualification in marketing or business – MBA, CIM, IDM
