The role sits at the centre of the UK People Team and plays a key role in ensuring that core people run smoothly and consistently. The role is primarily focused on Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, confidence using HR systems, and an analytical mindset are important, alongside a willingness to learn and develop within a People function. A traditional HR background is not essential. This role will suit someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working with data, systems and multiple stakeholders. This role may suit a recent graduate with strong administrative experience, or someone looking to transition into a People or HR role from another sector. Candidates from non-HR backgrounds are welcome, provided they bring strong IT skills, a structured approach to work, and a clear interest in working in a global People team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate cyclical People Team activity (e.g. annual pay review, audits, reporting requirements), ensuring deadlines and actions are tracked and met.
- Coordinate onboarding activity and support a positive and consistent new-starter experience.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of Excel (e.g. organising data, using formulas, vlookups, producing reports).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in an administrative, coordination, operations or People/HR support role (including internships or placements).
- Familiarity with HR or people systems (e.g. Workday).
